【Okinawa】Hotel Collective – A city hotel that offers all – golf, shopping and sightseeing!

Kokusai-dori is an essential spot for tourists in the center of Naha, Okinawa. Hotel Collective is a full-spec hotel with a total of 260 rooms, located in a prime location. This hotel is the perfect base for golf trips in Okinawa, as it is only about an hour away from golf courses in the southern and central areas of the island while enjoying shopping and sightseeing.

At the main entrance facing Kokusai-dori street, a heart-shaped object d’art, which means “heartfelt hospitality” and “the heart of the hotel (the heart),” has been placed and is a popular photo spot.

The hotel is operated by a major Taiwanese company, and as such, auspicious Feng Shui is incorporated throughout the hotel. For example, the lobby is designed around pillars in four different colors, each representing water, earth, fire, and wind.

Another attraction is art, such as Bingata, which evokes Okinawa.

Guest Room

Superior Twin (30 sqm)

I stayed in an entry category “Superior Twin” room. Although it is an entry category room, it is 30 square meters in size, so it is spacious enough for you to carry your golf bag inside the room.

All rooms share the same bath amenity, “ADVITAM,” a natural cosmetic from Taiwan. This is a high-quality cosmetic that is also used in high-end esthetic clinics.

The drinks in the refrigerator are free of charge! I am so happy to be able to enjoy Okinawa’s unique “San-Pin Tea” and “Orion Beer”…!

Junior Suite (67sqm)

The junior suites on the 5th through 12th floors are furnished with small Ryukyu tatami mats. You can sleep on a Western-style bed but also enjoy a Japanese-style space.

Guests staying in Junior Suites (and Premium Twin) can use the Executive Lounge “Altitude” on the top 13th floor. This is a special place to enjoy a light meal or a drink with a spectacular view of Naha.

Restaurant

The hotel has two restaurants, an all-day dining restaurant and the Chinese restaurant Kyo Garden, as well as a bar and lounge, Divertido.

Breakfast was buffet style in the all-day dining room. The lineup of Okinawan local dishes such as Soki Soba, Jyushii (Japanese mixed rice), Jeermami Tofu, Mozuku (seaweed), and Raftei (pork), all gathered in one place, made for a very satisfying breakfast.

Facilities

The hotel also has facilities for guests to relax after a day of sightseeing or golf. On the third floor of the hotel, there is a “Sauna & Bathroom” and a “Fitness Room” that can be used only by hotel guests. In addition, guests can rent bath towels for use in the bathrooms, as well as fitness wear and shoes, free of charge.

During the summer, you can also enjoy an outdoor swimming pool where you can fully enjoy the Okinawan resort atmosphere. It is easy to forget that you are in the middle of Kokusai-dori.
